How these names are built

Each name combines a meaning-bearing root (nature words for Wood Elf, shadow and underground words for Dark Elf, broader light and star words for Fantasy generic) with a settlement-type suffix. City and Kingdom names use grander, longer suffixes; Town and Village names use warmer, smaller-scale ones. A pronunciation guide is included with every result since these are invented compound words, not plain English ones, for example a name like "Silhaven" breaks down as SIL-haven, meaning roughly "silver" plus "haven."
